When temperatures turn mild and invite us to enjoy the outdoors, we too arm ourselves with plates and cutlery and move the restaurant into the park. Of course, our waiters have to walk a little more, but exercise is good for your health – just like the light summer dishes they serve with ease. Beneath the centuries-old trees of the park, it is pleasantly cooler than in the narrow streets of the old town, while at the same time you are protected from the whims of the weather. Thanks to the large canopy surrounding it, the Park Restaurant can be heated and offers shelter from wind and rain.Speaking of plants, be sure to look out for the Lebanon cedar, where a giant Merano rose has been climbing for many years. At 28 metres, it is by far the tallest rose in the Alps.
