In 2010 Parkhotel Laurin was named the "Historic Hotel of the Year in South Tyrol". The honour derives from an initiative of the South Tyrolean Sparkasse foundation, in cooperation with the Provincial Monuments Office and the South Tyrol Hotel and Restaurant Owners Association. The award recognises outstanding preservation of historic hotels and restaurants in South Tyrol by their owners, and also raises consciousness among the general public about the preservation and maintenance of historic hotels and restaurants.
