Parkhotel Laurin’s 101st room opens its doors with the beginning of spring. The Laurin Suite@Paradeis appears almost paradisiacal, situated amid blossoms and trees in the Garden in the Shade of Paradise in the Alois Lageder wine estate in the village of Margreid.
The Laurin Suite@Paradeis is an inviting mixture of building structure and garden: the exterior was designed by the South Tyrolean artist Claudia Barcheri while the interior has been equipped with original Laurin furniture from around 1910, lovingly selected and restored piece by piece in the hotel’s own joiner’s workshop.
The suite was executed in cooperation with well-known partners. The main module with its high-tech multimedia system and ultra-modern bathroom leaves little to be desired.

Alois Lageder wine estate manor
The Laurin Suite@Paradeis is situated in the English garden of the Lageder wine estate manor in the village of Margreid, remote from the traffic and bustle. Margreid itself is a romantic little village beside the South Tyrolean wine route, 30 km to the south of Bolzano/Bozen and 13 km south of the Lake of Kaltern.
The suite is the only hotel room in the village.
Travel directions:
Motorway exit: Neumarkt/Egna
turn left at the roundabout, then sharp right in the direction of Margreid
continue along the road numbered SS12 for 5 ½ km
turn right in the direction of Margreid along the railway station road numbered SP12, turn left at the traffic lights and then right immediately into the Parkstrasse.

Laurin Suite@Paradeis - project of the façade
The 28 year-old South Tyrolean artist Claudia Barcheri won the competition to design the exterior. She perceives the Laurin Suite@Paradeis as a synergy of a building structure and garden, incorporating utmost respect for nature and the environment.

The Laurin Suite@Paradeis has been furnished in the finest Laurin style, combining the belle époque with the most up-to-date mod cons.
The antique furniture (bed, wardrobe, dresser, leather sofa, mirror cabinet and lamps) have been restored especially for the suite in the hotel’s own joiner’s workshop. Elegant and bright materials evoke a cosy and relaxing atmosphere.
The bathroom measuring 20 m² incorporates the most cutting edge standards in design and technology, equipped by the South Tyrolean company Innerhofer and the German company Keuco.
